Conference Call Services: Pooling In Legal Eagles

New technologies are changing the way business is done today. Telecommunication tools such as satellite technology, cellular telephones, DSL, advance networking, and the Internet all provide a newer, more convenient, and more innovative way for people looking to communicate with each other. Conference call services is one of the most cutting edge and effective of these new technological communication tools.

Conference call services allow people to hold virtual meetings from all over the world. No longer do people have to spend large amounts of time and money so that they can convene in the same place for a meeting. No matter if you're in Nashville, Paris, or Kuala Lumpur you can still stay in touch with the people who matter through the use of conference calls.

Law firms and other legal services are increasingly using conference call services. They derive multiple benefits of using conference calls which include but are not restricted to economic benefits. By way of conference calls, it is possible to facilitate meetings with the greatest legal brains across the globe. Utilizing these conference calls, these firms can contact the leading legal experts for expert testimonies or get specialized opinions from the leading forensic scientists.

Conference call services are also a convenient way for lawyers to handle their business proceedings. The legal profession can be quite stressful. Lawyers put in long hours in the office doing research, meeting with clients, and shifting through paperwork. The time saved with a simple conference call can be a life saver.

These services can be used for marketing legal services because small law firms have the ability to perform same quality of services with similar kind of resources as large law firms. The ability of small law firms to provide special and focused services and with the same quality as a larger law firm would be paramount in attracting potential clients from larger law firms.

Conference calls are also easy to record, transcribe, and then review later. Whether you need to refresh your memory or study the contents of a conversation at length, these transcripts are yet another benefit to conference call meetings. It is clear, given all the benefits that have been discussed, that legal proceedings should always include conference call services.

Conference call services is a modern and effective way to speed up spreading and exchange information, eliminating travel costs, solving problems faster and keeping a touch of personal face-to-face communication. Conference calls allow you to hold virtual meetings with people located the world over. One of the sectors, which could profit from such a service, is legal sector. When these services are used for marketing legal services, small law firms can perform at the same level and with the same amount of resources as a much larger law firm would be able to. The big advantage of a conference call is also full electronic documentation of the meeting.

Gift Ideas To Send To Our Troops Overseas

I am a recent college graduate and I am forever on the lookout for good gift ideas for my friends in the armed forces. On one hand, these soldiers are brave and noble. On the other hand, they are also in their 20's, just like me i.e., not used to not having the comforts of home or the thrill of a good time. I wish to let you know my own gift idead for my friends in the troops. I hope you will be able to utilize these ideas to assemble a good gift basket for military overseas.

While sending the gifts to troops in a box, one must try to include atleast two of the following three fitting categories:useful, fun and good for batering. A gift box haing "toys" is great but the soldier's need different things; similarly one can send practical items also but it will be hard for troops to share these items with other friends in platoon.

Some very useful things include personal hygiene items: baby wipes (more practical than you'd expect!), soaps with lotion or aloe, dental floss soft wash cloths, and favorite brands of standard items like toothpaste or deodorant. These items never go unappreciated. Other great practical items are underwear undershirts, socks, insect repellent and air freshener. But remember, sending food is never a good idea.

Our troops love fun things, too! For fun gift ideas to send to our troops, small electronic devices like iPods (load it with music before you send it!) and inexpensive digital cameras (with extra memory!) are a great idea. Platoons often have a lucky guy whose family sent a portable DVD player; movies and television series are great diversions. Also, don't forget "real toys" like baseballs and frisbees.

Sending a useful and and interesting thing to a bartering favourite soldier is a nice thing to do. Tobacco in its many forms is a thing popular from grand old days. It is a tool used by the soldier to bargain some adjustments with his colleagues. Other useful articles like a small book or magazine is also happily received. However, on must restrain from sending proscribed articles such as liquor, drugs or ammunition, paticularly across the border. Please take note of this.

Hopefully you've received some fantastic ideas of what to give your favorite lieutenant, sergeant, or captain. Never forget to check rules and regulations of what is allowed to be sent to the service members. Remember that a letter and a picture are always welcomed as well. Enjoy making your own gift basket!

When considering gift ideas to send to our troops there are several good suggestions. Gifts for the troops that are useful, such as new clothing or air freshener are valuable. There are also fun gifts that can be included in a good gift basket for military overseas, these include electronic toys such as cheap digital cameras or portable DVD players as well as toys like baseballs or frisbees. There are also good bartering items like tobacco, which helps them get other good things, but one must avoid items like alcohol or drugs. Troops love to get things from home and these are just a few good ideas.

Project Management Training and Society

Project management training and Government Society, making, and the knack of the political achievable. Find out how project management and project management training both contribute to the administration and the citizens.

Politics is the knack of the achievable, the art of the concession. Project management training is, in the end, the collection of competences by which political procedures becomes into ruling and functions that govern our society and politics.

Theoretically, each policy-maker primarily stands for his voters, at whatever height of control he runs at, while considering the demands of his public with the overall needs of the land.

In practice, a handful politicians, who can go with this near Platonic standard are successful of winning an election. Only observe the rowdy electoral practice for House and Senate seats in the United States, or the impending feeding frenzy for the 2008 Presidential elections, and you'll see the dilemma.

In order to be successful the voting, each contestant has to say things to draw blocks of swing voters, who are often keyed in favor of or hostile to specific subjects.

For instance, in the 2004 elections, with two military conflicts on, the matter of gay marriage was considered a litmus test issue in the United States - not because gay marriage was, finally, more of great magnitude to the authority of the nation than combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, but because campaign managers organized parties of supporters to come out on that matter.

In this way, unions of voters outweigh single voters, and voting unions, controlled by alliances, or political action commissions incline to control the electoral process.

This means that, as product and program executives, the employees who make an election campaign have a great deal of activities cut out for them in trying to use a good project management planning in the framework of society and political principles.

Find out how project management and project management training both contribute to the administration and the citizens.

Read full article on: the use of project management training and a good project management planning can contribute greatly to government, society, making laws and the knack of the political achievable.

Atienza to Lim: My Son Is Not A Drug Addict, Yours Was

The Rotary Club of Manila held a Polo Club Mayoral Debate last April 22, 2010, participated by mayoralty candidates Lim and Atienza. The debate was a heated one, with both candidates exchanging ideas on various social issues. The discussion went over the issue of drug trade and use, with Lim noting his continuous campaign in preventing the said activities. Lito Atienza, Lim's opponent for the election, was unconvinced of Lim's statements following the arrest of Lim's son for selling drugs.

In 2008, the authorities apprehended Lim's son, Manuel Lim for selling illegal drugs, an offense that is nonbailable an carries with it life imprisonment. Manila mayor Alfredo Lim conceded that his son was arrested by authorities, but claimed that he did not, in anyway, helped his son with his case. As Lim was placed in the hot seat, he strained the topic by accusing the son of Atienza, Ali Atienza, a national athlete and a gold medalist of the taekwondo Asian games, of being a drug addict himself. The young Atienza who was in the audience called Lim a liar, as it was impossible for a former athlete like him, who competed in international games, to be a drug addict.

Turning red with embarrassment, Alfredo Lim who had no proof about his accusation, tried to cover his statement by pointing to former Vice Mayor Lacuna as the one who stated it. Ali in defense of himself outlined to Lim his clean track record. The mayor, humiliated by his actions, spoke no further as the moderators of the program appeased both parties. Lito Atienza remained calm despite the events and managed to continue the debate.

Manila mayor Alfredo Lim tried his best to redeem himself from the humiliating accusation he dropped; however, the program ended with antagonism in the air. He might have dug his grave for he forgot that the audience was a thinking crowd of professional Rotarians. With his mediocre means of campaigning, Lim usually pleases the city's usual crowd but he must have considered that what he was facing during that time were professional individuals who can be critical about his actions. It is just discouraging to see candidates speaking ill about their competitors. Considering that these candidates are educated, people were expecting an intellectual discussion from them to prove their capabilities to lead.

Soon after, Ali Atienza brought the incident to the media saying that he would be filing a libel case against Lim. During an interview, the son of Lito Atienza said that as an athlete who has represented the Philippines in many international competitions, it was hurtful for him to be accused of being a drug addict. He also said that he worked hard to be on the top of his game, and it was really foul for a mayor to come into a ridiculous accusation against a former athlete, who before competing, needs to comply with strict drug testing procedures. Atienza said that even after the election is over he would continue the case against Lim in order to give justice to his reputation that the mayor has tarnished.

With election 2010 nearing, it is normal to hear candidates speaking ill against their competitors. This practice has been around for ages, and has since served as a means to drag their competitors down. However, for the candidates, they must also realize that by doing this they are also tarnishing their own reputation in the process. This is because the public has already given up with the ongoing political drama, and prefer leaders who knows how to walk the talk over those who talks and talks.

Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim is caught under public scrutiny after he accused the son of Lito Atienza for being a drug addict. The incident took place during the Mayoralty Debate arranged by the Rotary Club of Manila last April 22 2010. The allegation dropped by Lim angered Ali Atienza, and told the media after the debate that he is ready to press charges against the Mayor even after election 2010 is over. This event could seriously affect Lim's candidacy.

Alfredo Lim Lose His Cool, Accused The Son of Lito Atienza As Drug User

Mayoralty candidate Alfredo Lim was cornered at the Polo Club Mayoral debate hosted by the Rotary Club of Manila last April 22, 2010. Various social issues were tackled by the competing candidates during the debate. When the drug problem of Manila was tackled, Lim outlined his strong campaign to prevent the rampant drug trade and use in the city; stating that he incessantly ceased the existence of drugs in Manila during his reign as the city's Mayor. However, Lim's opponent, Lito Atienza doubted his authenticity due to the fact that Lim's son was arrested for drug pushing.

It could be recalled that the son of Lim, Manuel Lim was apprehended in 2008 for selling illicit drugs, a nonbailable offense that also carries life imprisonment. Ali then went on the stage and lectured Alfredo Lim about his track record as a national athlete. The mayor, humiliated by his actions, spoke no further as the moderators of the program appeased both parties. Amidst the heated situation, Lito Atienza managed to stay calm and shrug off the issue, and continued with the debate.

The debate however did not last long, but Manila mayor Alfredo Lim tried to save face until the last minute. He might have dug his grave for he forgot that the audience was a thinking crowd of professional Rotarians. Lim usually gets away with his mediocre style of campaigning when he is facing customary crowd of tricycle drivers, vendors and the likes, but he must consider that he was facing professionals. It is just disheartening to see how this form of unintelligent debate can take place. Considering that these candidates are educated, people were expecting an intellectual discussion from them to prove their capabilities to lead.

Ali Atienza will not easily let go of Lim's allegations, stating that he would be filing a libel case against the mayor. The son of Lito Atienza said that he was deeply hurt about the allegations dropped by Lim. The young Atienza also pointed out that it was really impossible for an athlete to compete if he has been found using illicit drugs, making Lim's accusations a look more like fabricated story. Even after the election, Atienza is decided to file charges against Lim to protect his reputation.

As election 2010 is just around the corner, it has been a norm for candidates to speak something negative against their competitors. This instance has been going on in our country for a long time now as a means for the candidates to come clean from their own imperfections. However, for the candidates, they must also realize that by doing this they are also tarnishing their own reputation in the process. The people wants to have a leader who knows how to walk the talk and not just to talk and talk.

Lito Atienza For Manila Mayor - The Best For Manila

In the upcoming Manila elections, a candidate with supreme pro life advocacy has indicated his desire to lead Manila to a new beginning. Lito Atienza for Manila mayor is a motto which represents a suitable chapter to the vast history of Manila. His home in Philippine politics is a gallant one, and this he shares with his family background. In the upcoming Manila elections, it would be hard to go against this man.

Lito Atienza is a devout Roman Catholic, who is also President of Pro-Life Philippines. Together with his spouse, this candidate for the Manila elections gained international prominence in Rome as an official delegate in the Pontifical Council for the Family. He was afforded a standing ovation for accentuating that the Philippines has the highest percentage of citizenry who values life, family and the elderly. Lito Atienza for Manila mayor entails pro-life in our country.

Even during his former incumbency in Philippine politics in the City of Manila, he opposed all forms of contraception or abortion or sex education programs. Lito Atienza for Manila mayor would stand for an administration that will be perfectly pro-life from top to bottom. We had better vote for this man during the Manila elections if we fight abortion or those who are contrary to natural conception. The state of Philippine politics would for certain need a religious drawing card who has values such as him.

To bolster the Lito Atienza for Manila mayor credentials, he formed Rachel's Support Group, a group of volunteers who suffered post abortion syndrome. This group of this amazing candidate for the Manila elections held counseling to women contemplating abortion and aimed at discouraging them from doing so. Because of his efforts in Philipine politics, thousands of women were given the right perspective and thousands of babies were saved. These are but few of the reasons why Lito Atienza for Manila mayor should be a battle cry.

Lito Atienza for certain belongs to the old guard tradition of Philippine politics. But he lies in to the honorable side of this vein of the political population. He has a secure educational scope, with kin who are responsible public servants like himself. Apart from this, he has the core values of pro-life rationales which establishes him a virtuously upright potential mayor.

Come balloting day, these accomplishments of Lito Atienza are placed at the forefront of our consciousness. We have a possible mayor who is pro-life, who is socially conscious, and who is helpful. We have a potential mayor who grew up in the city, and whose most heroic dream is to make it great. If you are a member of the electorate of the City of Manila, the most consistent affair is to go for this man.

Lito Atienza for Manila Mayor - this is a slogan that is apt for what the city of Manila needs nowadays. The Manila elections are coming and the carnival has started again. Philippine politics will have its share of reliable ones while also giving its population of looney and wrong choices. Lito Atienza belongs to the latter and there is no further proof of this other than his pro life advocacy.

-Joel Dumayog

Lito Atienza - Champion Of Neglected Children

Lito Atienza is presently a part of the list of nominees who will enter in the elections for Manila mayor. These Manila elections, yet once again, would be a proof of the aptitude of the discernment of the electorate to pick a candidate who is worthy of the demanding needs of the colorful city. In terms of qualifications, maybe there is no one else who conforms to the post more other than Lito Atienza. And amidst those who will compete for mayor in the Manila elections, no one probably has helped more.

In 1992, even as a Vice-Mayor, Lito Atienza established with his wife Beng the "Home for the Angels," a child care center for abandoned and abused infants. He produced this out of his downright belief that nobody should feel unwanted. He also acknowledges that some circumstances might forcefully separate a parent from his child and this is why he created this shelter for them. The center furnishes sustenance and all the love which these children could ever need.

This center is the epitome of the good heart of Lito Atienza. This is what voters should be aware of during the Manila elections. To a certain sense, we are all youngsters of the city, needing somebody like Lito Atienza to conduct us in a city in which himself saw burnt to ashes and which he wants to see rise again to elusive prominence. Such deeds should not be forgotten and should be at the centerpiece during the elections for Manila Mayor.

It would be morally upright if voters on the elections for Manila mayor would pick someone who was vocally versus abortion. The position of Lito Atienza as one of the beginners of Home for the Angels has consistently been that abortion is the ultimate child abuse and must be stopped at all costs. The Home of the Angels is a center meant to be action oriented and serves as the back up solution to anti-life challenges. It is a concrete symbol and source of hope at the same time for many people.

During these Manila elections, let us not forget that the Home for the Angels has been a logical crisis home for abortion survivors and has helped many neglected, abused and exploited infants ever since it was founded fourteen years ago. It has assisted many victims and potential victims have a new set of lives and all of these is due to the kind heart of Lito Atienza.
